Dear Dr. Patel and Dr. Roth, I’m writing this to tell you both that the two of you are my all time favorite super heroes!! At the age of 55, after 20+ years of foot pain I was getting to a point where I could barely walk anymore, and I was convinced that I was only a year or two away from becoming this guy. It was a very depressing thought that haunted me constantly. I was truly scared. but the two of you changed the path of my life and now I’m absolutely certain that at age 56 I’m ready to be this guy! The transformation is nothing short of a miracle, and I will spend the rest of my very exciting life, thanking the two of you for giving it back to me!!
@Dr. Patel: When I met you for the first time, at your clinic in Vancouver, I felt hope for the first time in a very long time. Over the previous twenty years I had countless appointments with doctors and specialists where I was ignored, or simply sold another pair of expensive custom insoles. You were the first person who ever ACTUALLY listened and ACTUALLY cared, and from that first meeting on, I felt like I was in good hands. You helped find ways to temporarily reduce the pain from my neuromas and plantar fasciitis and sent me for X-Rays, Ultrasounds, and an MRI. Together we worked to diagnose my Moron’s Neuroma and Morton’s Toes, and when I could no longer take the wait for the Canadian medical system to help me, you made arrangements for me to be treated by your colleague Dr. Roth in Boulder Colorado. I trusted your guidance, and took the leap of faith, and I’m so glad that I did. Your per-op and post-op followup and coordination with Dr. Roth was amazing, and I have you to thank for how good I feel now.
@Dr. Roth: Thank you for taking such amazing care of me. We had several zoom calls together before and after my trip, and when the day came for me to travel to Boulder, you made arrangements for a driver to pick us up at the airport, and you had a driver take us back to the airport a few days later! The location of the hotel directly across from the surgery center meant that I could walk to the surgery, and afterwards, I was able to easily get back to our room for recovery. Leading up to the surgery, I was very nervous. Knowing that I was about to have a “osteotomy of the second metatarsal” on both feet, I was sure that I would have to spend several months in a wheelchair. I could not believe it when I was able to WALK out of surgery under my own power! You are truly a very skilled master at what you do, and I am SO lucky to have had you as my surgeon. I’m still amazed at how fast the recovery was. 6 weeks after surgery I was out hiking for the first time in YEARS!!
Thank you both so much for all that you do. I imagine that there are times when you go to work and, because for you it’s “just another day”, you might occasionally lose sight of the impact that you have on your patient’s lives. So I want you to know that the impact you’ve had on THIS life is completely transformational. For the first time in 20+ years I have NO foot pain. I had forgotten what it was like to not have pain. Now I can get back to living, hiking and playing with my grand-daughters. My heartfelt thanks to both of you for all that you’ve done.

I live an hour away from Boulder in a city with quite a few other foot/ankle doctors, but I called this office because the reviews are so stellar and they were able to see me quickly. Dr. Roth somehow managed to make the experience of getting TWO toenails removed–dare I say–pleasant? If that’s not the most glowing testament to her excellent skills as a doctor and her wonderful bedside manner, I don’t know what is. She was extremely kind and professional in her approach, which really helped quell my embarrassment over what I was calling “a bouquet of toe issues.” (Will I regret putting this online one day?) Not only did she make me feel mentally comfortable, but she also ensured the actual procedure was painless and checked in with me throughout to avoid any discomfort. My toes have been healing nicely, and considering the aftercare instructions on my end were minimal, I fully attribute the results to the quality of Dr. Roth’s work. I’m grateful for the exceptional care I received in her hands and highly recommend seeing her for any/all foot stuff.

Dr. Roth is a rare find! Not only is she a great physician but she’s caring, kind, easy to talk to and I’m only sorry that I am moving to California and she won’t be able to treat me anymore.

I am a healthcare provider with a busy schedule. Dr. Roth’s staff accommodated me between patients and at a moments notice! The initial appointment was very comprehensive and timely. The doctor and staff are knowledgeable and very pleasant! I was limping and in alot of pain going in to my appointment, and left walking without a limp. The pain subsided within 1 day. Needless to say, I am very impressed. All this and the doctor is relaxed and very easy to talk to! Highly recommend

I met her in the emergency room after a nasty fall when my ankle bones looked like a bag of marbles someone had dropped on the floor with no obvious relationship to my rapidly swelling foot. I was seriously afraid I might not be able to walk again. Dr. Roth is excellent, calm, competent, actually REALLY listens, she’s compassionate, and amazingly you can barely even tell I have had surgery. Bad break, called a Weber type C. Her stitches were so small and precise you really have to look hard to see any incision line. Aside from an excellent orthopedic surgeon–she is just an excellent human being, a quality often lacking in the surgical specialties. I came to have complete trust in her, I would recommend her to anyone. If you are her patient you are lucky and will get the best care available. I am a retired RN, Johns Hopkins University 1979. I even jogged a bit this week!! You are in good, well trained hands with Dr. Roth. Five stars easy.

Though recovery took a bit longer than my competitive outlook was prepared for…it has made a world of difference in foot pain i previously had. Bunionette surgery on both feet. First (Soccer) game back was last night felt great. No foot pain during or after the game. A bit sore today, but that was expected! All the staff is very friendly and attentive to every need. Dr. Roth is not only great at what she does, she is very personable and has great bedside manner!

I was very happy with the office, staff and absolutely love Dr Nicole Roth. She was easy to talk to, understanding and quick with replies that made sense to me. Followed thru with available and fast solutions. Nothing dramatic and very acceptable. I walked out without pain. Can’t say more about the relief and how pleased I am! At my age this is not less than miraculous.

Dr. Roth listens and takes time to answer questions and explain why she is using a specific treatment to relieve pain. Very non rushed atmosphere.

Dr. Nicole Roth was spectacular. She explained everything in a way that was easy for me to understand. She looked at all available options for treatments. The appointment was not extremely long, however I feel the appropriate time was taken to assess my issues. The staff was incredible. Very pleasant. The was no wait time. I was brought back shortly after I arrived. I would definitely recommend this clinic, specifically Dr. Roth to anyone looking for a podiatrist.
